Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actress best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV show Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision television series Cosita linda as well as Voltea Pa' Te Enamores. She is also a successful model and dancer. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas from the time she was a child and has always loved performing. She was trained since the age of three in many different forms. In her 15th year she was taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention during 2008 as she appeared in two seasons of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. In an episode from Telemundo's Telenovela Aurora in 2008, she was the role of a receptionist. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action-oriented film. Her performance in the role of Shadowhunter earned her recognition at her fellow actors at the Teen Choice Awards in both 2017 and 2018 for Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
